TATA finally outbid its Brazilian counterpart CSN to pen the biggest acquisition by any Indian company.People argue and compare with Arcelor-Mittal deal that Mittal co. had not to pay more than its value to acquire Arcelor and the deal was a classic one.But,Tatas know what it pays to be ranked 5th from a dipping 56th.The beauty of these 2 deals is that they have consolidated the steel producers who were divided to dictate price to the world-wide organised consumers.
This is the Indian uprising in front of China(1/3rd producer of World's total steel).While Tata will now be able to produce cheaper automobiles too and as far as my instincts suggest it means that Ratan Tata had the clairvoyance of this deal being successful undoubtedly and then only the Nandigram project for 1lac car has already started and i know that despite of Mamta's upsurgence in the front to stop it won't work anyway.This is for guaranteed.India's match has just begun in the playground of globalisation.

Lastly,according to L.N.Mittal's recent comment there lies a big task ahead for Tatas as how they manage to integrate the 2 entities,the 2 cultures,how they work with the new management and work in a matured market rather than developing one.Any change deals with certain amount of apprenhension and this one too.To clarify apprehensions and make its employees believe in the partership,to keep their motivations are the forthcoming tasks that will come to fore.
